About YR Skincare
YR Skincare is a natural and high-quality skin care series created with the goal of actively strengthening the beauty that nature has already given you. The skin – our body’s largest organ – is affected to the same degree by how you feel on the inside, as how you take care of the outside.
The products in our skin care series are developed by Yvonne Ryding together with Swedish laboratories and manufacturers. The goal has always been to create an affordable series of recipes that are made up mainly of natural ingredients and active substances.
The YR brand
The first skin care range was launched over 25 years ago and several of the products that were launched then were considered bold gambles – products that are now commonplace in most skin care ranges. The brand has grown strongly and the products are successfully developed and distributed both in Sweden and abroad.
Miss Universe – Sensation then, cult today
1984 was the year that Yvonne was persuaded to compete in Miss Sweden, a competition which she won. This meant that she also got to represent Sweden in the world’s leading beauty contest – Miss Universe. The sensation was a fact when her name was called out and Yvonne was crowned the world’s most beautiful woman. Not entirely unexpectedly, life changed overnight for the young girl from Eskilstuna.
